Gary Palmer
Gary qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2004, and following this he gained extensive experience in various aspects of residential and commercial surveying and valuation and building pathology in the private and public sectors.
Gary has experience which includes providing RICS homebuyer (Level 2) and building surveys (Level 3) reports, party wall matters under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, and also building surveys, stock condition surveys, schedules of condition and specific condition reports.
He is an RICS registered valuer, and he has undertaken expert witness training (2010), and following this, he has worked on a number of housing disrepair claims under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, and the Defective Premises Act 1972, which included various types of defects affecting housing in the public sector.
Between 2008 and 2012 he owned a Surveying practice which was part of the South East Surveys group of companies, with offices in Worthing and SE London, and he has also assisted in the mentoring of an APC candidate.
While splitting his time between the two locations I undertook work that included building surveys, and RICS Homebuyer reports, as well as party wall advice and valuations.
Prior to this period, he worked in the public and private sectors, where he undertook a range of general practice work that included surveys and valuations, compulsory purchase and research.
More recently, he has attended training relating to the legislation and valuation of houses in multiple occupation.
When not working, Gary has interests in urban design, architecture, sustainable building practices, and he enjoys spending time hiking, cycling, and the great outdoors with this family.


Onn
After earning a degree in Political Science, Onn spent time in Government assisting in agricultural development, and specifically in the assessment and administration of small loans and other forms of finance to farmers to help with the acquisition of plant and machinery used to help modernise small and medium scale agricultural businesses.
Throughout her adult life, she has continued to help her family on the family farm which is approximately 100 acres. After spending an extended period of time in nursing whilst helping to bring up our children, she has returned to a business role where she helps with admin More recently, she has worked in admin at London and South East Surveys, as well as helping out with surveys etc.
When not working, Onn enjoys helping our two sons, and she also enjoys the great outdoors including taking city breaks around Europe to explore its architecture, history and food. She also enjoys property refurbishment, and she even did most of the work on our loft conversion!
