Part 35 Expert Witness Reports

We provide expert witness reports prepared in accordance with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules, which govern the use of expert evidence in legal proceedings. These reports can be commissioned in relation to claims involving defective housing, where tenants or occupants are seeking legal redress against landlords or housing providers—including local authorities and housing associations.

Our reports are impartial, thoroughly researched, and presented in a format suitable for court use. They typically address issues such as structural defects, damp and mould, inadequate repairs or maintenance, breaches of housing standards, and health and safety concerns. Each report includes a detailed analysis of the condition of the property, the likely causes of any defects, the extent of the damage, and recommendations for remedial work.

By providing clear, objective, and evidence-based findings, our expert witness reports play a crucial role in supporting the resolution of housing disputes—whether through litigation, mediation, or settlement. We work closely with solicitors, housing professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure our evidence meets the necessary legal standards and contributes meaningfully to the case.
